(WARNING!)

Ironing to me is like polishing glass, its dead dull
a real irritation if you're in a hurry but on sunny
days when glass sparkles when you can go out to check
the streaks on theother side of the window its a great
satisfaction to see the outside world like there was
no glass there. Crock washers are crap leaving smears
on stuff, ever been in a bar and given a glass at a bar
full of little bubbles stuck in patches inside the
glass and lip marks around the edge ? huh, horrible.

I was redecorating recently and had to get a duster to
all the ledges around the door frames, amazing how
much gathers in a month or so, I never knew I missed
so much, and then theres the spider webs, I kinda like
spiders because they keep the flys and mosquitos out,
this time of year theres a patch in season when these
massive house spiders come out, some of them are so big
they cast a shadow, they seem to have a route always
about the same time diagonally across the tarmac and
out the back. I think they come to eat the crumbs after
our nighttime Horlicks and chip cookies.

Cats can't actually see bleu, well not as we see it
but I know that a particular cat happens to like
cheese more than say, mice, and they're very clever
because they'll learn how to open doors and stuff.
I mean they seem to like the whipping cheese on trifle
so if they can break into your outhouses they can make
mincemeat of your breakfast. Guests kinda get really
upset at the party cause some cats won't stop at cream,
they eat cherry, the sponge and the whole damn enchelada
Now that takes some doing.

With cats, if it moves its potential prey so maybe
it goes without saying that being tamed means having
to eat some sort of carrion, where they got into sponge
puddings I'll never guess - or perhaps victoria sponge
cakes are part of human evolution ? Is sponge cake
a kinda mincemeat? cat carrions? Hey & whats to do about
all them redundant mice? I guess we caniron them out
- wait, we could put them in a basket !
