And is allegedly currently offfering $150,000 signing bonuses for non-
gay Arabic lamguage translators
Irony mentioned by Keith Olbermann, Aug 5, 2008, MSNBC
My opinion:
Such is USA's regressive POLITICS ad absurdumb, and what are we trying
to influence the Iraqi political-economic-social culture to be? No
wonder they are weary & leary of pushy, spendthrift, condescending,
presumptuous, hypocritical, foolish Americans. I perceive the obvious
case could be made that U.S. officials & troops have been operating 5
years & expending a trillion bucks (?) handicapped without the best
possible "intelligence" in both definitions or senses of the term.

spelling correction: "leery" which means "wary" instead of "leary"

I had no idea being straight could be so lucreative.

The real irony is a lot of the places that speak Arabic have harsh
punishments for being gay, i. e., stoning 'em to death.

GAY MILITANT INTENT: OUR KIDS
From Concerned Women From America
by Beverly LaHaye
Dear Concerned American,
What I am about to tell you in this letter is so outrageous you may
find it hard to believe. I was astounded myself. I could not believe
that our nation had fallen so far. But the reports here are true. I
have warned many times that our children are under attack. Now I'm
writing to sound the alarm that the situation is even worse than I
thought. I'll tell you more details in a moment, but here's just a
sample of what I've discovered:
Cross-dressing promoted to grade-school children Graphic instruction
in "gay" sex taught to teenage boys and girls Armed guards posted to
keep parents out of high school assemblies led by radical homosexual
activists A book - published by a taxpayer-funded university - that
endorses sex between children and adults!
I've warned about this for many years. Now the evidence is beyond
dispute: there is an evil scheme aimed at destroying our children. The
attack comes on many fronts. It aims to expose children to sex...

re: Explanation of the phenomenon from (an apparent) rightwing
perspective
I didn't read the La Haye piece, just skimmed.
In the work-death camps, I remind the reader, the gays were identified
by pink...triangles or whatever
I perceive that the posting speaks to the essential political dynamic
Thus, in its own (unconstitutional imho) way, the political reality is
thereby starkly shown
Again, I rhetorically must ask: Now, why are we in Iraq? Is it to
teach 'em that other people (including religions) have human rights
blah, blah, blah
The irony & absurdity is surely understood by philosopher wannabes,
though if it's not clear, please prompt me or make the "truth" clear
via your own articulations

Again, I straightly answer, the $150 trillion worth of Iraqi crude.

Anyone who thinks oil bidness types like Cheney are interested in
human rights needs to be institutionalized.
They should not be on the street.

You can always save time by ignoring any letter that starts off like
that.

by Dr. William Pierce
Every week I receive a number of letters from listeners who believe
that I blame the Jews too much for the destruction of our society. I'm
not referring now to the letters from crazed Christian fundamentalists
who rave at me about the Jews being "God's chosen people" and
therefore entitled to do whatever they want without criticism.
And I also am not referring to the letters from lemmings, who simply
parrot back the Politically Correct party line they've learned from
watching television, to the effect that Jews are just like everybody
else, except better, and that the only reason I speak critically of
them in my broadcasts is that I'm jealous of their success. They tell
me that I'm an embittered loser who lives in a trailer, has bad teeth,
and never got an education, and that I spend most of my time getting
drunk and doing intimate things with my female relatives, because the
media have taught them that all people who live in West Virginia are
like that.

re: them Jews are subversive, rebellious, non conformists, hell-
raisers *
I didn't read that provocative Pierce piece, though skimmed it and
hereby reply with this article I enountered today about the conflict
of the religious & secular.
If he's saying the profoundly reactionary, then there are haredem or
orthodox Jews in Israel and the U.S. whom would agree about the
liberalizing, reforming and changing of traditional society.

Maybe Marx wasn't a competent political scientist or economist but he
did say one thing that's very useful in politics and economics:
"Question everything."
