Months ago someone posted that hydrocarbon based fuels were merely a
"convenience."

Scores of millions will die without this "convenience" at an
affordable price so this isn't true.

On the other hand, the post was infinitely valuable by bracketing one
side of the viewpoint extremes.

At least we know the limits.
