Antarctic ice is hedged in mountainous terrain. I don't see
scientists discussing how the extrapolation of edge sheet data will
progress or not based on such foundations (melting ice would not
overcome mountain ridges?). I suspect not all of the ice will melt.
What is interesting to note is the accumulation of mass in the
Antarctic and of course the position of the Earth's axis. A shift in
weight in the past changed the Earth's axis, creating the Saraha?

In any event Dr. Overpeck (spelled right?) has concluded from the
study of coral in the vicinity of Florida that ocean levels were
higher in the past, and that temperatures were up to 8 deg warmer
thousands of years ago. Studies of melting permafrost throughout
Siberia and Alaska will release up to 200 times what man is currently
producing?

I'm not convinced that planetary warming is "out of control". Man
may not be able to control it all. If the axis does shift, it could
also mean that continental drift could accelerate? What is
preventable, and under man's control, is the use of plant life. Clear
cutting and road building will force land owners of the future to have
a guilty conscience?

Rising sea levels may also increase certain kinds of ocean plant life,
which may be the ultimate balancing mechanism? Concrete is white. So
the loss of ice reduces the amount of heat reflected back by the sun?
What they do know is that the ice melts (sea levels were higher in the
past), and it freezes again (otherwise we would not see it melting).

Most manmade structures are not made to withstand the test of time
beyond a hundred years, many do not last half that long. Perhaps the
hype is more financially motivated than anything. Take things with a
grain of salt, man will have to rebuild everything in existance today
even if the climate was "perfect". Even witnessing the ice caps
melting will not stop Congress from rebuilding retiree homes in
Florida every year that are destroyed by hurricanes? Sure, everybody
thinks green today.

Of course if you limited Congress by their income based on taxes like
Mr. Huckabee (instead of the IRS) you could limit the spending of
Congress, as intended by the founding political fathers (the 5th
amendment says you can't seize personal property without
compensation)? Is political spending compensation?

Ooops, that's political science, my bad.

Have a great day.
