I was chatting to friends about ghost stories,I read somewhere
that the UK was the most haunted place in the world,I don't know
if thats a statistical variety of UFO sightings seen in other parts
of the globe...but I can only guess that there are similarities
elsewhere,
maybe in our needs to believe in something more that whats here and
now.

I often have a 'feeling' about place and time, thats related to who I'm
with and for celebrations and special events in my own life. These
feelings can sometimes be sparked off by smells or textures or sounds,
our anchors acting as reminders.

Something odd happened to me over the past few weeks, like some
tensions building up and dissipatedin fluxes. I was 'spooked' the
other
day when I was out late with little one/s. Someone on our train stood
up
and behind me, not something I'd have noticed usually, except that
something about this guy,or what he said (perhaps quite innocently)
shocked me.

My kids and me rushed off at the station, me behind between this
guy and the kids. We went our way and did what we had planned
although I felt queasy sowouldnt let the kidsoutta mysight for a
moment.

maybe a week later that strange feeling returned...I was walking home
after a night out on my own in the early hours. Its a route I'll
frequently
take and often I'll meet a neighbour walking my way or recognise
local traffic. This time I felt someone was behind me...perhaps quite
innocently...but I hadnt heard their footsteps coming up behind,

I saw no one, but when I began to walk forwards again I fleetingly
felt
as if there was a hearse behind me followed by ghostly traffic. It
must
have been travelling very slowly, because I was walking my usual pace.

A day or two followed and I walked past the strange road one of our
local villages, maybe a trick of the eye, a cloud, an aeroplane or
stray
bird caught in the updraft...I fleetingly felt there was someone
dressed
in black and lifesized looking over the villages,as if he was
suspended
in the air and deciding which route to take. The only time you could
ever
have that imagery would have been on SL...because of course people
can't fly...but if we CAN communicate real-time, and someone has
enough detailed background information about someone from internet
sources...one could of course be tracked down, perhaps followed.

And the very next day a hearse passed me on the same route travelling
the opposite direction.

---------------------------------------

When I'm particularly sleepy, worn out and slip into half-sleep
reality
fades gradually. If I'm woken from a dream it might take time to
readjust.

I was travelling across country and there was a strange feeling about
that journey. The closer Igot to a certain village, place the greater
the
tension mounted. I'm not sure why, ever...

Dreamily near the end of the journey it was announced that there was
some delay, and I wanted toget on home as soon as we could,so we
took a different route tomake a new connection to miss a delay.Which
isn't at all unusual. It was cold on the platform, and very boring,
suddenly
I had a searing pain through my forehead, and shrieked 'ouch!' then
said
'I'm so tired plus I've been reading without glasses again!" I looked
at my
watch to remember the time, then a feeling came over me "must get out
before the girls get in, they sent the girls in" I looked about the
platform,
and 3 of the prettiest girls came bounding down the steps.

I watched the news a day later. At around the same time,in the same
city some drugs guy had been busted and shot through the head.

--------------------

A friend of mine called home last night, he asked who, I say I'm half
asleep
I'm lying under a whitesheet on white painted floorboards. I'm not
alone
anymore...but I couldn't tell you for who it is for or whos with me,
