Well, actually the Swastika is a Shinto Buddhist symbol, and the
reason Arab countries don't use it is that has pagan associations that
would be strictly forbidden by Islam.
The Nazis, and even modern Germans, do have some underlying pagan
elements in their culture that have never been eradicated. They
weren't Christianized until the time of Charlemagne.
