Free amphetamines on prescription! YAY!

The new clinical speed drug for adults, the amphetamine "rimonabant" has
been given full backing by the medical council. "Side-effects" (main
effects swept under the carpet) include suicide and murderous ideation,
just like street amphetamines.

So while the doctors ban private use of cannabis for causing mental
effects, we must suppose that its OK for amphetamines if they are on
prescription? It's not about stifling individual freedoms then, or
retaining power bases and throwing up a moral panic funk against street
drugs of course.

Meanwhile doctors everywhere stalk children, selling another industrial
speed and drugging a whole generation from as young as 2 with the
amphetamine ritalin. "Side-effects" are a fault of the kids, and unlike
cannabis, not a fault of the drug! It looks bad. Anyone bothered? Fat
chance. Apathy tells us that we are safe and in the right hands with
these quacks.
