In Asia certain types are more familar and well loved, I'd
guess, as they are in US, although they don't necessarily
'travel' well or perhaps unsuitable as icons, for instance,
if someone is seeking a long term partner for marriages
and kids.

Afica, Asia and near East do have far higher poplulation
rates, and women are treated more kindly having more
self respect, and respect by others for their fertility and
their place in community life, than I have seen so far in
Europe.

I don't notice if there has been a push towards European
post-libbers turning their heels to raise family and care
for her man, in disappointment at what she finds in the
equal rights and pay in a so called mans labour market,
but a female aquaintance has been bubbling with excitement
at the number of new pregnancies and babies in our local
area ! and said 'the population has just shot right up in the
past 2 or three years!"

..... sadly never mine of course, for some reason our local
political party thought that I just wasnt good enough!
so really I wouldnt bother reading my ideas about
population growth, family, fertility or welfare or anti warfare
and pro-life.
