Democrats certainly should change the rules to eliminate super
delegates, even as early as the 2012 election. If Obama has any shelf
life whatsoever as his most ardent supporters seem to suggest, then
he'll handily beat President Clinton, even if she turns the country
around as successfully as Bill Clinton.
In fact, as a small "d" democrat, there are 2 things that might
persuade me to nullify the super delegate vote now before the 2008
nomination:
1. If all open primary and caucus votes, which tend to reflect the
will of the corporate boss controlled media and the GOP, were also
nullified. Repugliars and the Big Pharma controlled media have no
interest in the will of the people.
2. Obama supported freedom of speech for all Americans on economic
issues. If Obama talks the talk of majority rule then he better walk
the walk of free speech for all Americans.

I hesitate to guess what an irrational electorate, or political party,
will do.
But the Big Three Automakers are not the only American corporations
crippled by the cost of healthcare plans. Big Pharma's opposition to
socialized medicine is costing them money.

We Americans already got health care, thanks.
Maybe you should fly your tinfoil saucer over
and visit America once in a while.

Hm. Let's do a scientific sampling here.
Al Gore: his carbon footprint doesn't begin to match his actual footprint.
Software ocean models predict a cataclysmic event in coastal cities
should he ever fall overboard from a yacht.
Bill "Yes, give me fries with that" Clinton: overweight, but not obese
W: slendor and active looking. I wouldn't pick him up at a gay bar though;
he's not my type.
McCain: a little rotund, but healthy-looking for a guy over 80.

Visit the CDC web site and check out the data by state.
Red states tend to be obese.
Or just go to alt.politics and google "obesity + red states."
It's kind of like the higher broken family rates in the bible belt.

Even if true, it could merely mean that the Michael Morons
in red states are so fat that they can't make it out of bed to
get to the polling places. That's why the state went red. If
they only had a few of the skinny granola-eating leftards,
they'd have gone blue.
It makes sense that living out in fly-over country, where
we don't smoke marijuana down at the courthouse, would
make a leftard very depressed, so he or she goes on a
chronic eating spree.

What's ironic imho is that just because you or others say the process is
democratic, or open, or not thoroughly corrupted, doesn't mean it is.
