As a public service, I am providing a clear and simple definition of
Fascism:

Fascism = Conservatism + Limited Socialism.

I am providing this definition in an effort to deal with the
disinformation campaign currently underway by the right wing in the
U.S. to equate all forms of government of any type with Fascism. Yes

I think this is the critical issue here. American Conservatives are
very suspicious of Bush and Cheney's efforts to expand surveillance
powers of the government, suspend habeus corpus and other normal civil
liberties for "terrorists"
-- whoever those people might be -- and
spend unlimited amounts of government money on "wars" against
"terrorists". In other words, traditional American Conservatives
don't like the effort to fuse socialistic government power with an
effort to prop up the current system against all change: "change" is,
in Bush/Cheney thinking, "terroristic".
