Yeah, I really should learn about these newfangled machines I've been
using all these years. Thanks for the correction.

Who knows? Someday EADS, the lead manufacturer, may not need massive
subsidies - which to date have totaled $100billion - from the EU to
survive. But no doubt the company will continue to need all the
subsidies it can get. "Eurotrash Socialist Commies" have no problem
with that, including apparently even subsidizing American military
procurement (as they did recently with the $35Billion dollar air force
contract which Boeing lost to EADS - Airbus.)
Someday it may even help its stock price.

In reading the article I'm reminded of what has "never been done" that
certain parties will admit to doing and those things they wont admit
to doing. If you don't know what that means, I'm sorry but I'm not at
liberty to tell you. But when it comes to "space" a lot
(hypothetically of course :} ) of things have been done that most
people will never learn about (at least until it is de-classified).

Good thing we don't subsidize failing companies in the US, eh?

Of course we do. But then I wouldn't brag about it - or cite it - as
an achievement of capitalism.
