Eugenics is selective breeding meant to enhance and empower the gene pool.
Here are several objections to eugenics:
1. It can only work by interfering with the normal mate choice of a
so-called superior human being (as if their old choices were wrong, even
though they are superior).
2. It changes the very laws of society in relation to which anyone must have
originally been called superior.
3. It reduces genetic diversity.
4. If body size is increased, it reduces the available quantity of food and
other resources in comparison.
5. It raises the fitness threshold only by making the world needlessly
dangerous.
Any others?
What about objections to the above-mentioned objections?
