As England plunged a stake into his own heart and died for England.
(There were too many foreigners crawling all over him he said.)

We watched England and wondered if indeed countries like humans would
reincarnate.
Or maybe England would go to some special Heaven where countries live.

But neither was the case - so we said to England.
"You have left Earth then? Would you like to come live with us in our
Homeworld? We like England very much - you would be welcome there."

So England accepted the offer - and we placed England some two Universes
away in our Homeworld.
There among the green hills and fields - the rain softly falls and the birds
sweetly sing.
That forever there will be an England.

The loss of England was felt by many on Earth - both alive and dead who had
England in their hearts and in their blood. Far more than any other human
or any religions.

The love of a country - a FATHERland goes very deep.
And many rose from graves and marched out into space.
"We go where England goes. England is in our hearts and blood for ever".
And with songs and poems and carrying banners and flags many men rose from
the dead and from deep slumbers of eternal rest to hear the call of England.

It was wonderful for us to be able to save a country in this way.
That Earth is now without England who indeed will live forever in our
Homeworld.

And those who are truly truly English and who know what England means will
not be able to resist. That those long dead awake - and into poetry and
song they speak of words not known to any other men on Earth. That a part
of me is always England. And that no man who is truly English can resist
the call of England.
