Einstein and god

Theist has often tried to claim Einstein as one of their own in order
that their own bizarre claims look more reasonable. They mis-use
quotes such as "god does not play dice", and famously "science
without religion is lame, religion without science is blind". But
these quotations are taken out of context and the "truths" they
express are clear denials of the "personal" god that they insist upon
foisting upon Einstein which he took some pains to reject thoroughly.
Einstein's "god" has no personality; it does not intervene in, and has
no relationship to human activity; it is in effect the laws of nature;
there are no miracles.
Einstein's god is, like that of Spinoza's, the order in the universe.
It is not a person or entity separate from that universe.
