A Chinese man recently said to me, "you kill and eat according to your
feelings towards what is killed and then eaten by you."

We used to have a few pet sheep running around in our orchard, we
could never kill and eat those particular sheep (we sold them) and yet
we killed and ate other sheep that we had no feelings towards.

However, if there was a dog and or a monkey between me and starvation,
the dog or monkey would lose, pet or no pet.

Interesting, a maori chief of the early to mid 1800s in NZ named Honi
Hiki, according to recorded eye witness acounts, his favourite meat
was still-born babies, musta been a relation of that borg cockhead.
