Dodge By Definition

Author: Bret Cahill
Date: Jul 8, 2008 22:37

Experience teaches that the most disreputable cowards on newsgroups
demand definitions of every word once they are cornered.

Instead of a way out it just makes them look like they are too stoopid
to look up words in a dictionary.

Supposing one of the half wits here tried that with a judge:

Half wit: "You honor, what is the definition of 'contempt'?"

Judge: "You'll figger it out after 60 days . .."

Moral of the story? If you act really dumb, don't be surprised if
everyone thinks you are just really dumb.

Here in misc.legal, we'd like you to look up "malice" in the dictionary.

Get back to us.

The female of the species. The male being palice.

Who needs a dictionary when you are that creative ;-)

What I figured out a long time ago, was that people who lable other
people as dumb, are in dire need of comparisons with themselves.

How do you expect to get away with LYING when you ALWAYS get CAUGHT?

Dictionary definitions are often vague. When precision is required, we must
trace the meaning of a word directly to observable facts.

An argument whose words are precisely defined is a powerful argument.
