Near as I can tell,
dlzc's belief in literal back holes is a religious conviction.

Einstein ( in 1939 ) wrote:

the constituting particles would reach the velocity of light. ”.

Even Stephen Hawking ( belatedly ) said:
“ a true event horizon never forms, just an apparent horizon. ”.
