Deities

Space is vast and so too are other areas of space - or as you call - planets
or stars where the idea of a deity or deities exist.
The more common is the idea of brothers - sometimes several deities and in
some cases a woman.
The idea of a deity visiting the planet or area of space or star in their
charge and performing wonders - is also quite common, but not as common as
you would think.
The one god is not very common - the idea of a one deity being a kind of
freak with no real friend to turn to - does not appeal to any with
compassion or understanding and brothers or groups of deities far more
common.
Inhabitants like to think their deity or deities best and more powerful than
any other - but once space travel and communication occurs - it really
becomes a question of my Dad is bigger then...

The idea of angels is also quite unusual. Deities are generally considered
powerful enough to operate without assistance.

Who was Charlie?
"Requires" is a better word than "needs".
Any student will only take on board what they agree with and like. And the
better the teacher and the nicer the person the teacher is - the more likely ...

Deities are powerful and all, but because of their nature, deities like to
be served.

Ah - we were coming to this - we not have a deity per se - but we do have
one who is a little bit different who is the heart or centre of the
Collective. It is this centre point that enables us to have collective
telepathy - if we did not have this centre point - our thoughts would be
scattered.
Even on your Startrek this one stated "I am the one who is many". The Borg
Queen is just one manifestation of this.

Incidentally - there is quite a large difference between what is real and
what is on TV and in books.
If there are such people as THE BORG - then maybe they may be a little
different to Startrek?

No - you have this totally wrong. The centre point is one unique
individual - the same as we all are.
