Another Darwinian experiment recently started... seen in genres of
women's writings, networking, and fertility clnics.

In addition to the traditional white knight romance novels, there are
now the revenge tales of how the wife got back at him after being
dumped for a trophy bimbo. There's also the story of growing up,
getting into the right college, getting the right degree, then coming
out to look for the right... job. There are also the reports by career
women in their 30's looking around and seeing that all the men who
meet their professional standards are already married to sexy bimbos,
and stories about how unrewarding it is to marry one of these guys and
then try to raise the stupid kids left by his x-wife.
