Confronting a Defiant Child

Eliminating parenting problems is a process, as children behavior
problems will not just disappear without a change of venue. And it is
this change which will test your metal, when your child reacts. At
least you know when you get these kind of children behaviors in
response to your intervention, that you have your child’s attention.
Stay focused and in control, and over time you will see desired
results.

to force the child to behave? This seems to be what humans do. And then
freak the child out by telling him or her that...
