Of course under water life as we know it could manage to sustain
itself, especially important as our magnetosphere continues to fail us
at roughly -.05%%/yr.

A few meters of ocean would do wonders towards protecting our frail
DNA.

With some intelligent design luck, we might even find a safe way to
regain our gills, and learn to thrive on eating jellyfish.
