Lately I've been thinking how the human race is "pathetic", myself
included. We're celebrating life by going to the movies, listening to
ipods, participating in olympics, playing, and living our lives while
people suffer, kids are molested, women are raped, etc. etc.
I've been thinking that we should do what we can to end world hunger,
war, help refugees, homeless, etc. THEN celebrate life.
I can't stand all these egos and all the awards and everyone
celebrating as if the world is a perfect place.
Person X wins an Oscar, or a Gold medal, while Persons A, B and C
starve to death, are raped, or put in prison.
What is my problem? Existentialism?

Your problem is that you are allowing other people to control how you
feel.

Perhaps you are falling prey to the very 'problem' that you are describing?
Life, whatever it is, is not worth celebrating all the time, sometimes it
needs to be questioned and put in its place. Why...

The reason America is rich is because it was made by White people. The
former White nations and Japan are the first world. The Black
countries are the third world. Leftist blame all the problems in the
world on the Whites. The real reason Black countries are the third
world is that Blacks are on average much less intelligent than Whites
as all IQ tests have proven.

re: affluent life goes on while many suffer & die: what the h is this
(shitty) world about?
Take an example of China
China was previously a cliche for mothers: "eat your squash &
brocolli, because children satrve in China."
The USA currently (allegedly) owes China a trillion bucks, while they
have well over a billion in population, and
I suppose that much social-economic "progress" is now being made, and
they would seemingly generally agree.
Take an example of native American indians:
The were eventually enplaced into reservations, and it has not been
hunkee doree
Today, the remnants of the Cherokees etal enjoy a sort of regional
gambling monopoly, and I know because I am up there playing their
electronic bandits a few times per annum.
And, what profoundly shallow point am I suggesting by the above rather
common observations?
Well, I dunno, though I do perceive that reality is absurd (which is
an existentialist holding).
