Projecting from one state of consciousness to another is one thing (there
are a number of such levels), expanding ones consciousness is another.
The latter involves "now"ness.
An analogy is that of pointing a beam of light from a torch (which is why
the focus technique is used),and then pointing it somewhere else, compared
with the expanding of the light, seamlessly.
Another would be that of moving up a mountain and acclimatizing on the way,
as opposed to being dropped off at the top via a plane.
Drug trips are` also a form of projection, sometimes to the etheric plane
(beyond` astral), and can result in horrific experiences. The etheric being
the source of primal energy.Just look at the daily news to see such
examples.
Even the mountain example can result in hallucination and physiological
trauma, and that is relatively known territory.
To progress in any meaningful, healthy, enjoyable way in any aspect of life,
requires dedication and self discipline. The two tenets of the process of
self realization.Any other way has a 'hell' of a price...
Bon voyage :-)
