No. I was 29 before it was offered me. I'd already studied psychology
and worked in clinical settings, and knew of the therapeutic uses LSD
had. Which were suppressed because so often LSD destroyed the faith in
Jesus.
But if you read the Vedas, you find many "Soma songs", which
ethnobotanist RG Wasson discovered was made from Amanita Muscaria. If,
however, you are familiar with other psychedelics, then you recognize
the imagery, and see how the altered state of consciousness opens up the
allegorical meaning of the Vedas and exposes the deception in the claims
of literal meaning in the Bible.
