There is nothing sound here, practically, morally, logically or even
economical.

For instance, the US as an example again... 'black people' are as much
part of that nations fiber as any other race and given the length of
their ancestral connection, even more so than the vast majority of whites.

Which brings up the (de)illusion of white, or black, or whatever..
homogeny. the idea of a 'racial one-ness' is afforded here only by the
sense of being victimized. Once victimization is removed this cozy state
of (false) uniformity falls apart only to be replaced by some other
criteria.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the "Irish problem" or the "Catholic
problem" or the "Atheist problem" or "the liberal problem" or "the Hick
problem"... "whatthefuckever problem".

The REAL problem is a human one and not totally defined or confined by
race or creed but by Differences which can be just as volatile down to
the level of family [insert European History here].

Injustice is not confined to race. It will a most unsettling time indeed
when some people 'wake up' and realize that, like it or not, we ARE in
this together and only through a human union, a union of differences,
that the injustices that most of us face can be truly addressed.

To say the race issue is dead is obviously, by this thread, not true. To
say it should be is an imposition. However, the weight of historical
trend in how humans have been changing since their beginning, dooms this
as short sighted ignorance or, worse, far sighted stupidity.
