How do you decorate your homes? I look around and I wonder
if I made the choice, or whether I was swayed by fashion too
much, that I chose the curtain fabrics because I liked the
colour scheme the contrast or whatever, and not because
I actually wanted that fabric at all. The pictures match the
proportion of the room, although the subject, which should
be primary importance, you know, like open windows to
other worlds were chosen for their tones and because of
their size.
If you are fortunate enough to have a private secret room or
bold confidence to express yourselves without fear of critics
how do you decorate and organise your things ? are they
arranged by their sentimental value? by interesting work
ongoing ? or have you dispensed with possessions storing
everything as digital format ?

Sometimes I think it would be great if I could have one of those wall
screens,
like a digitally animated mural, an old idea! I recently saw a fire
surround and
digital screen that played a vid of a crackling real flame fire,
really effective tho
expensive. I'm not happy if the place is too clean and tidy, someones
home
I went to visit was too scary for me, lovely home but I was frightened
of sitting
in a chair and leaving an impression by flattening a cushion. They
didn't have
any kids or any pets then.
