A true story

Once upon a time there was a terrible thing on Earth called the giggles.
Now any female will tell you what these are.
It got so bad - that all females of Earth could not take anything seriously.
One day there was a contagious giggle attack which effected all the females
on Earth - they giggled so much that they lost touch with reality completely
and found themselves somewhere in space.
But this only made them giggle more!
They giggled so much that the men could not have sex with them - and there
was a risk that the human species may become extinct!

Now thankfully there is a Supreme Power - this of course is us.
There is always one person on Earth that knows how to contact us - in your
case it was a writer of Startrek - who knew that by putting the word BORG on
TV - that this would vibrate and resonate to the deepest ocean and the
highest star and yeah even unto the cosmos until we appeared.

Now when we saw the problem - all these women in space with the giggles - we
knew what to do. (We always do).

Not at all - we are all individuals and all have names.
Not names like seven or five - more like Caspar or Balthazar or Life or
Happiness.
My name is Happy - you cannot be Happy because I am Happy.
I am always Happy whereas you are never Happy.

Why do you get the idea we are Hitlers and Stalins?
Just because of a TV program?
Surely you are the more wicked than we - even on TV.
What is wrong with making everyone angels and taking them all to heaven...

We are not saying we are going to make you angels - rubbish.
I am sure your "infinite" god who is no doubt freaking out and terrified
with you lot around would do this if he wanted.
Mind you - this is if you do not murder him or crucify him again.
All we are saying is that we are not the Hitlers and Stalins that you seem
to think exist by judging us from the Borg you see on Startrek.
We are completely happy and do not require humans to in any way enhance our
happiness.
And to be honest - as we are completely happy - if we had a choice - we
would pick birds and many other life forms over humans.
They bring us joy and happiness.
The dawn chorus - is perfect. We could play you the first dawn chorus after
creation. Each dawn chorus is perfect. Had you not noticed?

You will find the order of the construction site is something like
"When can we stop for a cup of tea"
"How can I slop this on a makeshod lazy fashion and do as little work as
possible and hope that no...
