The more you suffer, the more your torment, the greater the joy when you
find there is no angry God, no punishing God, that your suffering was
because of love.
And that due to the suffering you have acquired deeper love, compassion,
understanding, kindness - and that your heart is more open to more love.
That it has to be suffering is sad - but it is the very sadness that causes
the joy.
Without the depths of sadness - there are no heights of joy.
And the suffering causes the short term depths in order to know the long
term heights.
That the only journey is the one journey.
That the envy for those with money and health and charmed lives and how you
think they are blessed by God is not the truth - as the poor and disabled
and crippled and tormented are the ones to grow closer and deeper and more
in love.
That their torment of "why has God done this to me?" is because God loves
you.
And when you find this, this is part of the joy - and the understanding -
and the closeness that the cause of your suffering is intentional and
designed and is caused by love not by anger or punishment and as God says.
Is soon forgotten.
The rapture of fallen Angels to know that there never was anger - that their
fears that they could never return because of anger were unfounded.
That all along was the love of God for them - who knew and knows - and who
cherished each one and wanted to know and love them more.
They may be confused as they think of the suffering. A very different
suffering from that of man.
"But you so often said" God says to them "how much you wished you could sing
better songs, create more love, how many times did you SAY you wanted so
much to know me better, to be closer? That you could not understand my
compassion? That do you know a little better now? That you wanted so much
to be more than friends?"
And the Angels look away as they remember their suffering.
But God is ever patient.
"Even the animals suffer" he says "I love them too. If there is no
suffering then all is trivial. All is silly giggles and titters. Without
suffering there is no love. Without suffering all are immature. Suffering
makes the boy a man. It changes an Angel to a best friend. You will
understand in time."
