A Matrix

''That's not the way the world really works anymore. 'We're an empire
now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're
studying that reality - judiciously, as you will - we'll act again,
creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how
things will sort out. We're history's actors... and you, all of you, will
be left to just study what we do.''

"That reality".

The phrase begs the question how many realities are there? Realities
created for our acceptance as truth. Defined by power and/or expedience.
How many realities are there? How are these realities managed?

Parallel realities, different truths. Side by side, sharing the same time
and
space, sharing the same language, defined as one might define perception.
Bourne out of necessity, out of a dependence on the prevailing 'realiTies'.

"That reality".
