Thanks for Hints.

Your Signature-Marker is broken. There's no Space after "--". It should
be "-- ".

New version of VLC on bebits

Author: §ñühw¤£f

I realised I was using 0.8.6 version of VLC and not the latest version.
Maybe thats why I couldnt get a nice picture. Tried some .avi and .mpg files
from old windows 95 & 98 disks to look at. The picture looked like it was
reflected in a bunch of thin mirrors. Started checking off boxes in the
preferences window and suddenly...viola~~!!! it works...then it stopped having
good sound...so I'll install the latest version to see if its better.
Its probably some little detail I dont know about though :)

Theres a story on the OSNEWS website about a Process Controller clone that works on windows. While theres the usual gushing about how kewl it is to have some BeOS functionality on your Windoze desktop, I wonder why they didnt just consider using BeOS itself with the original Process Controller?
If you want the BeOS experience, you have to run BeOS :)

Anyone tried this yet? I just put a NIC in my BeOS box and I want to use a
crossover cable to hook it up to my moms Vista laptop.
