And I will patiently explain again since you seem reasonable (i.e., you
understand Bush has seriously screwed things up). Blaming him for
destablilizing the Middle East is NOT to let the terrorists off the hook.
OF COURSE Hamas and Hezbollah are murderous scum who are responsible for
their actions. But they felt they had a clear playing field precisely
because the idiot Bush launched his war in Iraq.

You're completely missing the point. Look, no one (except the loons) claims
that the Nazis and Hitler aren't responsible for the atrocities they carried
out during the Third Reich. But one can note that the way Germany was
treated by the victors after World War I helped pave Hitler's way to power.
They *share* in the responsibility for *setting up* a situation where the
Nazis could carry out their blood-drenched schemes, even though the Nazis
are solely responsible for carrying out their genocidal policies. Likewise,
Hamas and Hezbollah are solely responsibile for THEIR terrorist thuggery,
but one would have to be blind to ignore the fact that Bush has made things
*easier* for them.
