You know something, "ken"? I'll tell you.
I am not Karen Anderson. There isn't a single person here who thinks I
am except you, and the only reason you say I am is to provide yourself
with a shield of ersatz protection. You think that by insisting that I
am KA, you're somehow protected from the reality of your situation.
Whoever Karen Anderson is, and I have no knowledge if a person named
KA is even aware of being used as crocodile bait on usenet, I do not
believe for a moment that she sent those pictures. It's true that...

Ironically, the package was sent with tracking info. She wanted a
receipt.
And while nothing would totally surprise me, I have been in touch with
people who have met her, including police officers. The physical
descriptions match up with the photos that she sent me (and which I
forwarded to the Bremerton cops).
If you say that the addresses don't match up and that she's not where
you think that she should be, then I believe you. So there is some
other logical explanation.
Perhaps she has been using an assumed name at one time or another?

I'll take a look at it in a few days. Since there was a return
address and that return address matched other return addresses that
she used (she mailed a couple of other, less provacative things to me
over the years) I never had a reason to question it.

Well ... I am not so sure that the address is a hoax.
And there is evidence in the photos (remember, there are about 45 of
them) that correspond to a tattoo that the mentioned in a email, and
so forth.

Now that I think about it, isn't the postal stamp visible in the
photos? And isn't it clearly stamped Bremerton, WA?

I blew up the scan of the package. The delivery confirmation # is
0303 1910 0000 8275 9543. That's visible in the photo that you have
available.
There is a green tag in the upper left hand of the scan that isn't
visible but I believe that on the original package it has a stamped
indice from the Bremerton Post Office.
As I said, the original is in my files and they are at a separate
location. Perhaps I'll dig them out this weekend.
