'I could not afford to bury my 30-stone wife . . .'

The widower of a 30-stone Mansfield woman says he could not afford to
bury her for two weeks because of spiralling funeral costs . . . which
included a large reinforced coffin and extra men to help lower her
into her grave.
Forty-five-year-old Jeanie Morrell's body had been at King's Mill
Hospital since she died of a heart attack on 4th March.
And she was finally due to be buried at Ault Hucknall yesterday
--
where a crane from Richmond's Crane Hire was used to lay her to rest.
