Ken and Sarah, on the subject of .45's ...

Was kicking this around today following our telecom of yesterday and
wanted to ask you opinion on something.

I've been looking at the Taurus 24/7 and you can find them at a
fraction of the cost of the H&K products. I had a Taurus once - years
ago - that was a built-under-license version of the Beretta that the
US Army adopted. The Taurus was actually excellent quality.

Whaddya think? Suitable for going after those wild hogs that we
talked about? ;)

They are cheap enough that if a person had to they could throw them
off a bridge somewhere. Just sayin' ...

Are you referring to a .45 ACP or the 9mm copy of the Beretta? Taurus
autos are not pretty but they do get the job done with a little fine
tuning on the trigger.
