I do it to MOCK Gilmer cause he FREQUENTLY refers to himself as "Yours
Truly" or in the THIRD PERSON...or "ol' John". Read his blog and a lot
of other crap he writes.
When he's not doing the above, he uses hundreds of other names,
including MINE. So, if I use *I* or *ME* in my posts, who knows if
Karen really wrote it or the various other people I'm accused of being,
or even Gilmer himself? When I write in the 3rd person, there's no
doubt WHO is being referred to. Clear?

I think you are a "bit strange" for shooting from the hip without having
a clue what you're talking about. You don't get subtlety, either?
I mock Gilmer's silly behavior on Usenet all the time but even HE is too
dense to realize he's being MOCKED....and ridiculed.
His writing is so painfully "affected" that a friend and I sometimes
write emails to each other in his "style"...they are hilarious, but that
soon gets quite old because his writing "style" is annoying, silly, and
vapid....like an adolescent who thinks he's being cute and
"interesting".
PirateJohn is a laughingstock wherever he goes, but he's the only one
who doesn't know it.
