Who are these soldiers who are being prosecuted for refusing to kill
civilians? Are you referring to deserters? Did it ever occur to you that
the primary motive for someone who goes AWOL is not because he has a
problem with killing anyone, he just decided he does not like the hardship
of military life in general during wartime. This is why people have
limited contracts to serve in the armed forces. Don't you think that when
someone volunteers to agree to a specific term of service his word should
be worth something? When your time is up you simply decide not to
re-enlist. Just leaving when you feel the whim to do so obviously cannot
be allowed.

I personally feel a lot more comfortable with some guy who has marital
problems in his life than someone who's best friends include race baiting
preachers and unrepentant bomb throwing terrorists. I have a suspicion
that Obama is willing to forget the youthful indiscretions of someone who
bombs other people's government buildings but probably draws the line on
the one's who plant bombs in the building he might occupy some day. It
might be a good idea if he didn't have a falling out with William Ayers,
eh?
