Lucky the loony Yank didn't manage to get his hands on a gun, or there
would have been a massacre.
All he had access to was a knife, so nobody was killed.
This is indeed a good-news story for gun-control.
There are *still* too many guns in the USA, though.
And too many loonies - including the one in the White House.

one good reason not to get fat, is that you can run away from someone
wielding a knife
although
if you are going to get shot you should be as fat as possible to
cushion the bullets impact
although
if its God fearing Americans, then no one gives a fuck anyway :)

Well, let's think about this for a moment, and apply some simple logic.
We could have had any of the following scenarios:
- Attacker with knife and defender with gun (no one killed)
- Attacker with gun and defender with gun (someone could have been
wounded or killed and chances are it would have been the attacker)
- Attacker with gun no one else with one, as say on the Long Island Rail
Line shooting (attacker could kill as many an he wished and his ammo
held out)

Or, if victim #1 had a defensive weapon, there could have been NO
victims and possibly one less 'loony'.
> All he had access to was a knife, so nobody was killed.
So, essentially what you are saying is that you are perfectly happy w/ 8
victims in this crime, just as long as no one was killed.
I presume that we can count on you to volunteer as one of the next
non-fatal stab victims in a crime... Good.

Really? Good news that 8 innocent people are stabbed, some critically???
