Larry, you didn't get my drift at all, did you? I wasn't talking
about not liking Madera Reserve. It's gorgeous. It's the fact that
in Arizona, you have to stay home to avoid the grinding poverty,
ugliness, and hopelessness of 99%% of Arizona. When I sold the house
in Madera Canyon, I thought maybe I should consider Tucson, so I
leased a house in the Catalina Foothills area for 4 months during the
winter, and again.... it's the 1%% thing. A tiny minority of people
who have a decent life, the other 99%% of AZ is horrid. You aren't
being disloyal to AZ if you admit that; it's just being honest.
There are small strip mall areas that are fairly nice surrounding the
affluent, and the rest of the place is an appalling slum. What makes
AZ is the country itself. Not the abject people.

Tell us Karen, when you made your trips to the XXX porn shops in
Phoenix was that considered both business *and* shopping?
