At NAMM: Eddie looked a little neurotic, constantly messing with his
hair. He reminded me of comedian, Richard Lewis, who does the exact
same thing.
So, who's going to induct VH into the hall of fame? I've seen names
Brian May, Gene Simmons and even Henry Rollins thrown out there. I
could see May doing it and even Simmons. Rollins is an unusual choice
but I think he'd do a good job. I'm sure he wouldn't be considered but
I think Ted Templeman would be a good choice.
I read that Sammy heard the Chili Peppers might do it. He might have
some insight, since he's been playing with Chad Smith but usually Flea
and Anthony are the spokesmen for RHCP and I don't think they're all
that big of VH fans. Frusciante and Smith are the VH fans in that band
and I have a very hard time seeing them do a speech. Like I said, that
territory is usually handled by Flea and Anthony.

I think they are big fans...I recall in one of their newer videos the
guitarist using the White/Black striped guitar

Gene Simmons will probably do it. He practically discovered the band.
However, I'd love to see Rollins do it because he is notoriously
partial to the Roth era. I'd love to see him get up on the podium and
blast Hagar like he did in his book.

Simmons or KISS aren't in the RNRHF, so presumably that counts him out?

Since when do you have to be in the HOF in order to induct someone else?

Since forever?
Inductees have to be inducted by someone who's already in there, or else what would the point of it be? Otherwise *I* could induct Van Halen.

Bono inducted Bruce Springsteen years before U2 was inducted. It's
completely up to the artist who they have do the induction speech and it
doesn't matter if that person is in the hall or not or even a musician.
