Yeah, but not on the level of VH.
He sold a million records, but you know he would have died out with the rest
of the 80's rockers.
Rick Springfield was a star at the time, too, he just didn't have the luck
of hitching up with VH.
Sammy would have been remembered as the I Can't Drive 55 guy, and that's
all.
He didn't even have a certified Platinum album (Montrose as well) until
after he was in Van Halen.
