There's this new bill introduced in the chilean congress, that seeks to add
internet disconnection (3 to 12 months) to the current penalties for copyright
violations, if done through the intertubes.

Idiotic enough? Then you're gone love this: the bill can be downloaded from
the congress website in MS Word format. The document metadata reveals that the
author is not any of the congressmen that sponsor the bill, nor their
secretaries, or any of their assistants: it's a senior lawyer with one of the
top corporate IT/Trade secrets law firms in the country, who happens to also
be one of the closest friends of the son of the president of the chilean
version of the RIAA.

And the cherry on top: the "Company" field is "The houze!", which is the
identifier used in the popular pirated WinXP distribution called WinUE. Like
raiain.

Fuck them in their fucking necks with their crappy artists' catalogs. In LP
