MP3 vs iPod & docking station question

Author: Chemo the Clown

I am looking at getting a SanDisk SDMX3-2048 Sansa M250 2 GB MP3
Player and I'm trying to find out if it will work with a Logitech mm50
docking station with speakers. Are all MP3's configured the same as an
iPod as far as using a docking station with speakers?

Thanks!

Andy,
I run a Sansa E-260 4 GB with an Altec InMotion iM 510
dock/speaker combo (+- $90 Best Buy). Supports Sansa M & E models.
Has speakers, Amp, power supply, and USB 2.0 connectivity.
Recharges the Mp3 player.

Sansa & IPod are not plug-compatible. The jacks are the same, but
the wiring scheme is different. DO NOT PLUG YOUR SANSA INTO AN
IPOD DOCK. ( Unless you have a spare Sansa. . . and like fireworks)

Good Luck
