I remember it well. For me it was a letdown from the imo brilliant 'A Trick
of the Tale.' I dutifully bought the next one, 'And Then There Were Three',
which was hugely disappointing, and other than the live 'Seconds Out' I
never bought another Genesis album.

That tour was when Phil could first sing - the 11th Earl opening still
has never been matched. also the last year phil had hair - and looked
pretty cool cutting it short finally on this tour - better than that
1986 "lotta hair in the back, lotta glare up front look.
merry xmas!

Just a thought: with the new box set only a month or so away now (looks
pretty good - extras - videos etc) Why no live albums? I would have thought
the surround sound system would have done a fine job handling the halls
acoustics etc. Maybe a live box set? Honestly I could happily live with just
the "Live" & "Seconds out" & if pushed even "Three sides" Everything post
that...no.
As I said, just a thought

I love hearing stories like that and I've heard them quite often -
with both Yes *and* Genesis. Fun to hear of "youngin's" buying ie,
Genesis 'Invisible Touch' (in your case 90125), and eventually
uncovering their vast back catalogue of great material.
I'll never forget my girlfriends son, then 14, after discovering the
whole Genesis catalogue asking me:
"What happened"?
"What do you mean"?
"How could a band go from so great to so bad?"
:-) Out of the mouth of babes.......

Ok, so a little while ago I visited the musical box's website and they
had an audio clip of a (I assume) new singer and new trick of the tail
tour. The guy sounded... reasonably like Phil Collins but lower. It
was definitely ok, still not phil but ok.
So I look at the website today and damned if Denis Gagne is playing
Phil Collins now. That doesn't seem right to me at all. His voice
just doesn't cut it for me for a Phil concert. And they're saying
another guy does singing too but only sometimes. But there's no
indication which concerts he does and/or what he sounds like or if he
was the same guy they had on earlier. So what on earth is going on,
can anyone shed light on this?

Obviously you must think that Jews are unforgiving people.
Just from doing a quick search in the Google archive one
can quickly find posts from you which show you to be quite
unforgiving yourself, so it's really hypocritical of you to
preach to others.
