Maladin and Muzzy say he was the most naturally talented racer they've
ever seen. Cycle World said he recently got picked up for purse
snatching on a beach in his homeland of Australia. Apparently, his
last attempt at employment an application to Subway.

All the potentially good racing we were deproved of because humans
have a fucked up personality trait of feeling they have the right to
force other's to live by their rules. Humanity can kiss my ass!

It's benn threatening with cloulds to the East for a week now but we
had our 1st downpour starting about 10:00PM tonight. It's the only
relief from the heat we get in the summer; albeit higher humidity but
lower 100's in temps.Thunder, lightening and wind abound as I speak, AZ
is 2nd only to Florida in lightening strikes per year..

  ride report: BT016 (shorter)

Author: AlFire

Hi,

almost 500 miles on BT016 (16s) has passed. first impression: it is so
different from Pilot Roads (PRs). second impression: it have something
in common with BT021 (21s) according to my very vague recollections,
some unpredictability I would say. preliminary verdict: they are very
good at things they are good at and like to be kept warm. no need to
panic in the wet.

test1 (day1):
-------------
right after mounting them I took a short ride and headed to my benchmark
place. which is a four leaf clover shaped set of interstate ramps. no
big traffic, good pavement, relatively safe. and you can ride it
infinitely :-). the major minus is that is right turn only. my cars
start to give a squeaky noise around 45-50MPH. I was able to do 50MPH on
PRs without pushing the envelope. Now 16s are doing very well at 55MPH.
Speeds are obviously not very accurate. the felling between is.

however when returning to home on the second to last turn, the rear
skidded badly. never happened on PRs.

  SV-650 discontinued?

Hi,

Reading FZ-1 forum I came across this one: http://tinyurl.com/4uolev

quote from the quote in the quote:

"""
Suzuki’s SV1000 will be dropped from next year’s product lineup, and
‘there’s a good chance the 650 will be discontinued. We don’t have a
motorcycle that fits in. I think two of my counterparts don’t have
motorcycles that fit.’
"""

Indeed, it is hard to find a SC-650 in Chicago land dealers. Is not
supposedly a popular bike? I am confused.

  Electrical issue....

Can anybody enlighten me as to the following problem with a possible
cause....

Battery is getting drained while riding and if the bike is not keep on a
trickle charger over night - after about three days of commuting (about 10
miles each way) the battery will be dead. Volt meter test shows about 13v at
idle and about 14v a little above idle speed.

Went to dealer and asked about it and they confirmed that the volt numbers
are good but said I should see if there is a amp draw by measuring between
the negative terminal and the neg wire lead but I'm...

Shamelessly taken from craigslist:

Harley-Davidson: The most efficient way of converting gasoline into noise,
without the embarassing side effect of horsepower.
