  OT - more cage

Ok, the consensus was Subaru Outback / Forestor.

Kbb.com says a 2005 Impreza Outback retail in my zip is $12.5k.

And the locals are asking this:

http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=&nid=443&tab=list/view&ad=448796

$17.5k? WTF?

I think we'll keep the POS. We only owe about $5k on a car that kbb.com says
is worth between $8.2k to $6.5k.

Not sure. She won't even test drive them, just one look and
YEEECCHHHH!! Something to do with its wagonness I think, she isn't a
natural for wagons.Cross over SUV's, sure, but the Foerster looks like
a wagon.

What Suzuki should do to REALLY dominate the SB market

Make 3 600 class bikes to all compete in the 600cc SS market.

1) a 750 twin with ~110 RWHP based on the SV engine and chassis & upgraded
suspension.

2) Build a triple 675 based on the 600 engine with one cylinder lopped off
and a brand new chassis with 110 RWHP.

3) Keep the 600 i4 around for a baseline to the others for a couple of
years.

4) Make the SV-650 a SV-750 with about 90 RWHP and update the suspension to
fully adjustable and tack on $500-750 to the price. 5) Same with the 650
V-strom.

Now that old SV-1000 motor that been around as a TL-S/SV motor since 1997
can be updated with a GSXR like chassis in a 1200cc TL-R + engine (they
were 131 RWHP stock at @1000cc), to be a 1098 Duc eater. Upgrade the SV &
TL-1000 to about 1100cc (paint shakers) and dump the old 750cc i4 for good.

These changes would put Suzuki in a dominate market position against Honda &
the rest of the Japanese fare. Plus, see below.

  Change to google groups navigation?

Hey, Saddle, are you still using google groups?

The discussions page changed last night, and now the "sponsored links" side
of the page covers up the start of the discussion list and makes it
impossible to click on the first six to twelve subjects to get into the
thread.

Any ideas about what to do to fix the problem?
