What is it about Harley threads that attract so much interest. All of
the other stale old topics burn out in short order, but once a Harley
love em or hate thread starts it's like the Energizer Bunny. It just
keeps going and going.

As a not yet fully indoctrinated Harley Whore I will pass along my
first impressions of the Road King.

On a purely personal basis I love the way it looks. I have always
leaned to the cruiser style and since Harley created that mold I have
to like it.

I had a chance to sit on one at the Vancouver motorcycle show last weekend
Interesting to say the least.
You either love or hate the look
I'm 6'1" and inseam is 32 inches.
My knees got jammed against the back edge of the 'gas' tank.
It must have more than gas under there because the fuel capacity is small.
I guess air intakes and electronics etc.
They need to remove about 1 inch of that trailing edge or nobody can ride
it.
If I got comfortable then I could not reach the brake or shift.
If I could move my feet and reach them. My knees were jammed tight and I
could hardly move my feet up and down to
perform braking or shifting actions.

Oh well maybe enough feed back at the dealer level. Or someone will come out
with adjustable foot pegs.
