Hi,

what is the flight plan for that trip? Asking because I am just simply
jealous. Do you take SV-650?

May 10th CCS races at Blackhawk Farms Raceway

I took about 700 pics on Saturday at the races...
Learning Curves is a CCS race license school. A few of my friend's took
the class to get their license. One of 'em is a HD/Buell salesman at the
local dealership, another is a Buell design engineer, and the other is
an engineering student at MSOE.

I've also got pics of the pits, Supertwins, and Thunderbike races.

City of Valleyjo fined bankrupsy late last week... police and fire budget takes 75%% of the tax base

.. add in the hidden costs, and weaseled police and firemen
retirements at age 51 more than many many physicians earn while
working... over 150,000 dollars a year in some cases.. and you can
see why.

so many of the police have threatened to leave that city......waste of
time...other cities are in similar circumstances. We cant afford
to pay high school graduates with guns who retire more than tenured
Phd professionals.

The new tactic of doubling fines will not work either...it will just
further decimate the productive, goods and value working class....we
are not talking about fat ass civil servants here... 80%% of that is
bloat.

its killing us.

  shorttake: demo ride D675

Author: AlFire

Hi,

I spent a few miles on D675. Could not rev it up (just city zone + brand
new bike) nor lean it over more (I ride that kind of thing for the first
time so was just scared + draconian demo ride policy "drop one free, buy
one at full price").

I just liked mid-range punch as well as the feeling it begs me to take
it to turn it.

The most important thing was the impression when I sat back on my FZ-1
after 30 minutes ride on D676. What a piece of piano that Yamaha is.
Big, wide, toll. More like a chair then the horse. And what an
artificial riding position it yields.

That all what I can say for now.

PS. xposting to rec.motorcycles just for fun.

  OT - Java One

I saw this gadget demo'd at the Java One Conference.

It is the coolest computer I have ever seen. I should have bought one for
the conference price of $139.

This video doesn't begin to show what the device is capable of.

And you can program it in Java.
