Is there and easy way to push the pins out that hold the floats in on a
rack of GS650 carbs without splitting the rack? I need to get floats out
the clean the valves and last time I tried I broke two carbs when using
a small screwdriver as a pin punch and hitting it with a hammer. No
matter how much carb cleaner I spray in the float valves still stick. Or
would I be better to get enough cleaner and a tank and just totally dunk
for 24 hr?

Dont know how many Canadians there are here but I'm trying to spread the
good new that the Parry Sound sport bike rally is back on again. Would
be nice to here from those who are going or want to go from the Kawartha
Lakes area. Maybe we can have are own rike to the rally?

This is weird - there seems to be a problem with my front turn signal
running lights. When I fire the bike up, the left running light is often
off. If I hit the turn signal (either left or right), the turn signal
works fine, and then the running light pops on. Initially, I only noticed
this with the left one (I had lowsided on that side some time back) - the
right one seems to be having problems now - but it usually seems to be only
one or the other. Using the turn signal seems to fix it for a period of time.
I just find the intermittent behavior strange.

I did some google groups searching and ran across problems where using the
turn signals would cause the running lights to go out, with no turn signal
activity. The suggestion there was that this might be a bad blinker relay.
Any opinions regarding my symptoms before I start replacing things?
