T-minus 14 hrs and counting.
Sad, sad, sad........
Argh!
Sunday, back down to Mother's house for the last load.
So we thought,
seems there is a back shed like building that will need cleaning out too.
Get to wait for the thaw tho, since the doors wont open due to ice and snow.
Last week, had some realtors come to mother's house.
Conclusion, we have to fix the leaky basement before selling.
Argh.
Plus side, my brother works heavy equipment/construction, once we know where
the leak is,
he maybe able to take out that basement wall and redo it??????
Wont know til the damage is appraised. But big $$$$$ no matter what.
Sucks.

Leaky basements.
Not very many are water-tight.
The ground gets saturated enough down on the walls and
under the floor and it's gonna find a way in.
Spend your time diverting water away from the house.
You got a whole roof of area to drain away. Get it done and
the water won't be there to leak in.
It ain't rocket science and ain't expensive.
Now if the house is lower that the surrounding area,
you in trouble.
