The Mystery and The Apostle Paul

Author: bwmeyers

Paul and the Mystery

Ephesians 3:1 --- "This is the reason for me! Paul: The prisoner of
Jesus Christ, for the sake of you Gentiles."

What is it that Paul is claiming as the reason for himself? The
obvious place to look first would be the antecedent text to his
statement: the 2nd chapter of Ephesians.

As Nicodemus rightly asked the sanhedrim: "Doth our Law condemn any
man before it heareth him?' Is anyone silly enough to do that to the
apostle Paul? I don't think anyone here is capable of answering "what
is the Mystery?" --- I could be, and I hope I am, wrong. The Mystery
is that reason for Paul.

What is the Mystery? There is a summary definition of it given in vs.
6, but let's go back to the 2nd chapter to get more of an insight of
what that summary definition means.

The second chapter of Ephesians is the essential history of every one
of the Gentile Believers of Ephesus, and of everywhere else on earth,
for that matter:

  The Stony Heart Removed.

Author: Carl

Many people have hardened hearts towards God, Christians and/or Christians
however in the sermon below, Charle Spurgeon preaches on how a hardened
heart may be changed into a "heart of flesh" by placing trust in Him.

May God bless,
Carl

The Stony Heart Removed
by Charles Spurgeon

"I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an
heart of flesh."-Ezekiel 36:26.

The fall of man was utter and entire. Some things when they have become
dilapidated may be repaired; but the old house of mankind is so thoroughly
decayed that it must be pulled down even to its foundation...

The teachings of the Messiah are very clear in that we have one judge
and that is our Father in heaven. So why do Christians go around
calling each other “false prophets”? Just because somebody disagrees
with them or doesn’t share the same point of view? Isn’t that really
us being the judge?

The fact is most Christians do go around especially on use net with
one purpose. They look for somebody to attack. I rarely see a post
that says, “Great job posting”... although from time to time the rare
individual pops up. But don’t you find it troubling that the majority
of people that post, usually spend the energy in attack mode? How is
that an example of what Jesus taught us?

>Nope. That's not what you've been told. Once again you intentionally
>misrepresent in the spirit of deceit.

But here he said:

"Quick question: can you Biblically call snow "Christian" when he
rejects God's Word, grieves the Holy Spirit and has in no way shown
where he has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior?"

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.messianic/msg/71a16f325dfc361c

So now once again.. twice in that slanderous post.. you've been shown
to be a liar Carl.

We can also see in your title that you made:

"Why false teachers like Snow Job are stalking." References to your
sexually perverted mind.

Now don't bother blaming somebody else when you changed his title,
like you do all mine. You made that title say "false teacher" and
left the rest of it because you want to liable my good name.

  On Attending The Church Service

Author: Carl
Date: May 31, 2008 13:09

The following sermon by John Wesley is a loving exhortation to Christians
concerning attending Church services. It is imporatant to our growth in
Jesus Christ that we attend Church services and fellowship with Christian
brethren. I hope this motiviates you to attend your local Church services
more often.

May God bless,
Carl

On Attending The Church Service
by John Wesley

"Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord: for men
abhorred the offering of the Lord." 1 Samuel 2:17

1. The corruption, not only of the heathen world, but likewise of them that
were called Christians, has been matter of sorrow and lamentation to pious
men, almost from the time of the apostles. And hence...

Carl is afraid to debate <----LOL! Don't flatter yourself snow

More examples of snow's horrible exegesis. Oh well. And another vain attempt
made in folly by snow to try to lure me into godless chatter by trying to
provoke me by making a challenge in such a manner that normally is used
mainly on elementary school playgrounds and not by rational adults. I don't
respect nor bother with such childish tactics as snow employs. Besides, God
clearly teaches that we should not have anything to do with false teachers
and divisive individuals like guardian snow/Phoenix.

Mark 7:20-23
20 "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.' 21 For from within,
out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder,
adultery, 22 greed, malice , deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and
folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.'"

Note Phoenix/guardian snow's words of malice, deceit, slander, arrogance and
folly.

  Women should preach

Author: guardian Snow
Date: May 31, 2008 11:50

Should woman preach? It’s been a long held belief that churches
should only be led by male pastors and that any church that has a
female preacher should only be for woman, is this the true teachings
of Yeshua Messiah? It is my point to show and reveal that not only
should woman be leaders in the church but they need to stand up and
take an active role in proclaiming the truth and they are required
to. The Messiah ended his ministry with these words:

(The Scriptures 1998+)
Mat 28:19 “Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations,
immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-
apart Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And
see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Amĕn.

We notice first that his only qualification is that they are taught
the truth of the Messiah. He places no bias on gender.

What else does the bible teach?
Mic 6:4 For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you
from the house of slavery, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and
Miriam.
